Gifts to support the work of the Cleveland Eye Bank are always welcome. While insurance reimburses the majority of costs associated with providing corneal tissue for transplant, it does not cover all our expenses. As a non-profit 501(c)(3), we strive to contain costs, but rapidly increasing expenses make this difficult. The Eye Bank must rely on the generosity of individuals and foundations to help fulfill its mission of sight restoration.

Many people choose to make a gift to the eye bank as a way to pay tribute to the memory of a deceased relative or friend or to honor a birthday or anniversary. Such memorial gifts or gifts in honor of a special occasion are always welcome. Acknowledgment letters are sent to the person honored or to their family.
